Summary
Use this tool to generate a link for a Google Calendar event. It works best in Chrome or Edge, so make sure you follow the instructions below for setting the date and time if using in a different browser.
All fields are required.
Event Title
Sets the title of the event
Event Location
Sets the location of the event
Event Date/Time Start & Event Date/Time End
Sets the date and time for the start and end of the event.
Please use Pacific Time, like you do in Marketo for the Add to Calendar token.
If using any other browser than Chrome or Edge, it must be formatted as follows:
YYYY-MM-DDTHH:MM
Make sure to include the “T” between the date and time. Google Calendar uses this to separate the two, and if it is left out, the link will not work.
Also, the time must be in 24-hour/military format.
Chrome and Edge handle all of this for you, so use one of those if possible.
Event Details
Sets the details section for the event. This is where you can add the agenda and any other info.
